Notice with regards to
COVID-19 Provincial State of Emergency
April 8, 2020
As many of you are aware, on March 22, 2020 the Province of Nova Scotia declared a state of emergency to help contain the spread of COVID-19. It is quite likely that this will continue to be in place through the month of April and possibly beyond.
Under the Authority of the Health Protection Act, all provincial parks, beaches and tourist attractions are closed. The Hubbards Public Boat Launch and nearby Cenotaph fall under Nova Scotia Provincial Parks governance and therefore must be considered closed. This includes the Cenotaph parking area.
Individuals are reminded that all provincial and municipal orders must be adhered to on Hubbards Community Waterfront Association properties. These orders are subject to change day to day and should be monitored via provincial and municipal information sources.
- There are to be no non-essential gatherings of more than 5 people.
- Social distancing of two metres (6 feet)
- Self – Isolation as required per provincial requirements
The HCWA facilities are not set to open until June and as such the bathrooms, offices, and docks remain closed to the public. For any further assistance or concerns please send an email to: hubbardscove@gmail.com
